Biography
Ian Fitzgerald was born, age 0, in the tiny hamlet of North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Ian has few memories of his time there, as he moved away at the young age of 22. Memories still vivid enough to recall include:
-a restaurant with old carousel horses upon which young Ian would be placed while awaiting the fulfillment of his chicken finger/cheeseburger order
-a baseball field constituted entirely of crab grass and black flies
-a graveyard.

Following his departure from his beloved hometown, Ian detoured briefly into the pastoral municipality of Cumberland, Rhode Island. Though Ian enjoyed his fleeting stay there, he never did see any of the famed dairy farms of old Cumberland. Ian confirmed this in early 2007 when he remarked: "I never did see any of the famed dairy farms of old Cumberland."

Ian, age 24, now finds himself in Boston. He does not live in Boston, but he often finds himself there because the city streets baffle him outright. More importantly, Ian finds himself having independently released three full-length records since 2004 consisting entirely of his own compositions. The first two, Missing Silver (May, 2004) and Torn Up Routes (October, 2005) found Ian punching around at different themes and occasionally causing them to stagger or cutting them above their left eye. Of course, sometimes, they fought back. With his new record Former Glory, Ian had better have knocked them out, or else he won’t be able to continue being so constantly full of himself.
